  The Association of Business Executives (ABE) is a market leader in the cost-effective provision of quality assured British management education recognised as an accepted route onto the later stages of a number of UK and overseas professional or university qualifications. This course is designed for current and prospective business oriented staff and entrepreneurs who wish to gain a professional qualification or advance their career to a degree or post graduate degree level in business management. This Diploma will suit candidates already working or seeking to work in a commercial environment at a supervisory to manager role.

  Course Structure  
  PART 1  
  All four subjects must be passed.  
 
Organisational Behaviour
Financial Accounting
Economic Principles and their Application to Business
Quantitative Methods for Business and Management
   
PART 2
Three compulsory subjects:
  Human Resource Management
  Marketing Policy , Planning and Communication
  Management in Action

Plus two from the following options:
  Systems Analysis and Design
  Managerial Accounting
  Principles of Business Law
 
 
  Entry Requirements  
  Applicants should be recommended by two responsible persons. They must also have attained one of the following entry requirements:  
 
ABE Certificate.
Two GCE ‘A’ levels together with four GCSEs at Grade C or above, including English language and Maths.
BTEC National award in relevant subjects.
Three passes in LCCI Third level in relevant subjects.
Four passes in RSA examinations at least two of which must be at Stage 111.
Pitmans Qualifications - Two passes at level 3 in relevant subjects.
An ‘Access’ Certificate from a UK College of Further Education.
Any NCVQ approved qualifications at level 3 in relevant subjects.
Such overseas qualifications which following University of London guidelines may be accepted
   by the Registrar as being equivalent to the above.
 
     
  In addition the ABE welcomes applications for student membership from intending Diploma candidates who, although not holding a formal entry qualification, have been in appropriate employment for at least two years. A reference letter from employers must accompany all such applications.
