How do I qualify to come to the United Kingdom to study?
  To be able to qualify to study in the United Kingdom,
 
  • You should show that you have been accepted for a FULL-TIME course of study at a bona fide institute
  • You must demonstrate that you are financially capable to pay your tuition fees & living expenses without recourse to public funds and seeking employment other than as authorised.
  • You intend to leave the United Kingdom on completion of your studies.
Can I extend my stay as a student?

How do I apply for a Student Visa?
  If you are an international student, currently out of United Kingdom, then you will require contacting the local British High / Deputy High Commission or Embassy in your country. If you are in the UK and intend to apply for further leave to remain as a student, you may contact the Home Office (website links for the home office is mentioned in the bottom of this page).
  You will be required to submit documents in support of your application along with an application Form. Again the application form can be obtained either directly from the British High Commission / Deputy High Commission or may be downloaded from their website. As per legislation, college(s) are not allowed to provide immigration related advice regarding entry clearance or leave to remain unless authorized and regulated. If you need specific advice, contact your local British Council, or British High Commission. Enrolment letters and certificate of attendance may be required to be submitted along with such application. Am I allowed to work in the UK while I am studying at Middlesex College?
  Students are generally allowed to take part-time work (Not exceeding 20 hours per week) during term time, and full time employment during vacations. Students are allowed to work on a full time basis only as part of their internship (work placement). An internship is required to be clearly stated by the college.
  Students are not allowed to be engaged in business, self-employment or the provision of service as a professional sports person or entertainer.
  Students are also forbidden to pursue a career by filling a permanent full time vacancy. Its advisable to check the terms of your Visa carefully as this may differ from time to time.
   
May I bring my spouse and children with me?
  Students are allowed to be accompanied by their spouse and children aged under 18. Student will however have to prove heir ability to financially support their spouse and children without recourse to public funds.
   
Is my spouse allowed to work?
  Dependent spouse of student enrolled for a full time course in the United Kingdom are eligible to work if the original leave to remain granted to the student exceeds 12 months. What is the Application Procedure at Middlesex College?
  The application procedure and Middlesex College is fairly simple and straight forward. The steps involved are as follows:
 
  • Complete an online application form and submit it to our international office (OR)
  • Mail, Fax a duly completed paper form to our international office.
  • Make sure you attach all supporting documents
  • Include most recent passport photograph
  • Provide evidence of your English Language proficiency.
  • Submit your non refundable application fees
  You may either choose to scan and send all these documents online to our international office; alternatively you may post the same or meet one of our friendly representatives in your area.
  Once we are satisfied about your eligibility and suitability to pursue the program for which you are applying, we will send you an offer of place along with an acceptance form.
  You will be required to sign the acceptance form and return to us either online or through one of our authorized representative in your area.
  At this point of time you will be required to submit your fees for the first year. These fees are refundable in case of your visa denial. Please refer to our refund policy. If you are overseas and applying through one of our representatives, you can submit a draft of your fees to our representatives’ office
  Following the receipt of your acceptance of offer and proof or fee payment, we will issue you a UNCONDITIONAL LETTER OF ACCEPTANCE for your entry clearance.
