  Introduction  
  The NCFE Level 3 Certificate for the Environmental Practitioner is targeted at candidates who are employed in small and medium sized enterprises, multi-national companies and those who work in the voluntary sector. It can provide training for those who are seeking employment and who intend to take on an environmental role in the workplace. It would also be of benefit to those candidates whose workplace is non-compliant with current regulations or has employees requiring up-skilling, and additionally for those candidates who work for organisations in ISO 14001 and EMAS supply chains.  
     
 
Admissions Duration
January, March, May, July, September and November 2 Months
 
     
  The qualification consists of four mandatory units:  
 
Unit 01 Develop an understanding of global environmental issues in relation to your organisation
Unit 02 Investigate environmental aspects and impacts of your organisation
Unit 03 Apply appropriate environmental tools to drive environmental improvement within your
  organisation
Unit 04 Understand the need for and the benefits of an Environmental Management System for your
  organisation
 
     
  Candidates must successfully complete all four mandatory units to be awarded the NCFE Level 3 Certificate for the Environmental Practitioner.  
     
  Entry Guidance  
 

There are no specific recommended prior learning requirements for this qualification. Candidates wishing to undertake this qualification should hold an appropriate Level 2 qualification or equivalent. Admittance onto a course of study remains at the discretion of the centre based upon the above criteria.
