ABOUT CTHCM  
 


The Confederation of Tourism Hotel and Catering Management was established in 1982 to provide recognised standards of management training appropriate to the needs of the hotel and travel industries, via its syllabi, examinations and awards. Those studying for the examinations of the Confederation are offered a structured learning process, encompassing both the theoretical and practical aspects of the industry, together with a clearly defined path of development through progressive grades of membership.

Entry Requirements for Diploma Programme  
 
  • Two GCE ‘A’ levels together with four GCSEs at Grade C or above, including English language and Maths.
  • BTEC National award in relevant subjects.
  • Any NCVQ approved qualifications at level 3 in relevant subjects.
  • Such overseas qualifications which following University of London guidelines may be accepted by the Registrar as being equivalent.

 
Entry Requirements for Advanced Diploma Programme  
 

  • CTHCM Diploma.
  • A degree, awarded by a recognised UK or overseas University.
  • Other recognised qualifications of approved overseas Institutions of Higher Education.
