The Confederation of Tourism Hotel and Catering Management was established in 1982 to provide recognised standards of management training appropriate to the needs of the hotel and travel industries, via its syllabi, examinations and awards. Those studying for the examinations of the Confederation are offered a structured learning process, encompassing both the theoretical and practical aspects of the industry, together with a clearly defined path of development through progressive grades of membership.

Our Diploma and Advanced diploma programmes in Tourism, Hotel and Catering Management are designed to provide you with an exceptional education that is replete with valuable practical experience. You will study six months course at the college and will be offered six months work placement to practice in real what you have learnt. The combination of recognised courses, professional instructors, and work placement, will all help you work towards your goals. Students who successfully complete the Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Tourism, Hotel or Catering management can progress to the 2nd and final year of the degree programme in Thames Valley University as per the articulation of programme set between the university and Middlesex College.
