  Objectives  
  The policy includes consideration of the following areas:  
     
 
  To identify practices, procedures and customs in all areas which unfairly discriminate, directly
    or indirectly, and replace them with practices and procedures which ensure equality and value diversity.
  To establish agreed grievance, complaints and disciplinary procedures to protect staff and
    students  from discriminatory behaviour.
  To adopt and monitor an admissions policy which aims to widen access to Middlesex College™
    whilst recognising the importance of placing the right student on the right course.
  To provide and monitor adequate and effective support services for all students and staff.
  To adopt and monitor policies and procedures to provide equality of opportunity in the
  recruitment, selection and promotion of staff.
  To provide a suitable environment for work and learning.
